The Sherpa APC BRI vehicle

During the urban riots of Thursday, June 29, 2023, the BRI deploys its new Sherpa APC armored vehicles from Arquus. In addition to the BRI’s armored sides, the RAID, GIGN and Gendarmerie engage light armored vehicles, including the PVP, as well as heavier armored vehicles such as the former VBRGs and the Gendarmerie’s new Centaure.

These specially-equipped vehicles, adapted for use in urban areas, can carry and transport an intervention unit as close as possible to the crisis, with a roof hatch allowing an observer to be positioned high up to monitor and protect the progress of the assault column. 

As usual, Promodels is keeping up with the times and will be offering a new version of its Sherpa Police with the various changes made by Arquus to modify its model. 

The model will benefit from the following additions/modifications:

• Removal of smoke grenade launchers
• Removal of window grilles + shielding supports
• Removal of roof accessories + antenna stud + jerrycan
• Modification of the roof hatch
• Modification of running boards and buffers on bull bar
• Added support with rotating beacon + side lights
• Addition of rear lights to roof
• Moving the rear windows
• New decals

Given the demand since the first version was sold out, this new model is excellent news, especially since it will completely match equipment used in action and our figurine sets should also be useful for the creation of a pretty diorama.
